At Community, we know that living God's radical, inclusive, real love begins at birth and grows through opportunities to both experience and practice that love intergenerationally. We also believe that family is the primary source of faith development for children and youth. Our church supports, provides resources and encourages families to teach children and youth about God's love and grace in this world. We help parents “parent in the pews” during worship and provide age appropriate materials so families can grow in their faith practices at home. All families are invited to our First Sunday Family Lunch on the First Sunday of every month immediately following worship.

Children's worship & wonder

Every Sunday during the school year, we offer Children Worship and Wonder for kids ages 1-9, once during our monthly First Sunday Family Luncheon, and once during our 10:30 service on the fourth Sunday of each month.

Worship and Wonder is a special program that allows children to engage with the stories of the Bible and the elements of the Christian worship service in an age-appropriate way, inspired by the Montessori style of schooling. It is a sensory-friendly, quiet and contemplative time where kids will hear, see, and touch the key narratives of the Bible like the Genesis creation story or the parables of Jesus, have time for creative play, and learn the rhythms of Christian ritual. 

community Nursery

With experienced nursery staff and an extensive child safety policy, Community's Nursery accepts babies and toddlers up to 4 years old. Children begin worship with their families and after the Children's Moment are welcome to move with our dedicated staff to the nursery.

We strive to help our kids recognize their gifts and strength and we provide opportunities for our kids and youth to serve others with God's love. 

  • We value partnering together as a team with you to help raise children of faith. We provide parents resources to help grow in faith as a family through each week as well as provide opportunities for all to engage the stories we are learning through family events.
