Jonathon moved to KC to begin a Masters in Music Theory at the UMKC Conservatory. While in KC, Jonathon studied voice with Dale Morehouse (UMKC) and began the study of organ with Sharon Hettinger (former organist at St. Andrew’s Episcopal). Jonathon composed One Community for Rev. Shanna’s installation.
